Now drain off the curdled milk using cloth.
Rinse with cold water, making sure the paneer remains soft and removes lemon flavour.
Squeeze and drain off the water.
Now hang the cloth along with curdled milk for 15 minutes. do not hang for more time, as they loose moisture completely.
Mash till the curdled milk turns smooth and soft. else it will be difficult to prepare balls.
Transfer to a heavy bottom pan on low flame.
Keep Stirring. The mixture should not very hot. You should be able to touch it by hand.
If by any chance the mixture became very hot, remove from flame and keep on stirring on the residual heat.
Keep on stirring until it is neither too dry or too wet.
Add powdered sugar and rose sharbat.
Remove from flame and divide it into portions.
Press it into moulds or make small balls out of it.
Garnish with pistachios and rose petals.
Keep it in the refrigerator for couple of hours before serving and enjoy! Keep it refrigerated.
