Keasr Peda | Peda | Instant kesar Peda
Ingredients:
- 2 Cups Mawa/ Khoya
- 1/4 Cup Sugar
- 1/2 tsp Green Cardamom Powder
- few strands of Kesar / Saffron
Method:
- Mix Few strands of Kesar in 1 tbsp of warm milk. Keep aside.
- Heat the mawa in a broad non-stick pan and cook on a medium flame for 7 to 8 minutes, while stirring continuously.
- Add cardamom powder & saffron milk. Mix Well.
- The mixture should be smooth and soft.
- Remove from the heat and let it cool completely.
- Add Sugar Powder and mix well.
- Spread the dough to cool slightly, so it will be easy to prepare pedas.
- Now scoop a tbsp of dough and prepare a ball.
- Prepare a smooth and crack free ball by greasing ghee to hands.
- Place pistachios or any dry fruit at the centre and press gently.
- finally, instant kesar peda is ready to serve or refrigerate in a air tight container to store for a week.
