Mac 'N' Cheese
Ingredients:
2 cups Boiled Elbow Macaroni
1/2 cup Grated cheddar + for sprinkling
1/2 cup Grated processed cheese + for sprinkling
2 tbsp Butter
2 tbsp Refined Flour
2.5 Cups Milk
1/2 tsp Crushed Black Peppercorns
1 tsp Oregano
1 tsp Mustard Sauce
1/2 tsp Crushed Garlic
Salt to taste
Method:
Preheat the oven at 350ºF (180ºC).
Heat a non-stick pan, add butter and let it melt. Add crushed garlic or garlic powder and saute for a minute.
Add refined flour and whisk well for 1 minute.
Add cold milk and whisk well. Cook till the mixture slightly thickens. Add salt, crushed black peppercorns, oregano and mix well.
Add mustard, mix well and cook for 30 seconds.
Add boiled macaroni little by little and mix well to coat with sauce. Add water to adjust the consistency.
Add cheddar cheese, processed cheese and mix well. Adjust seasoning and take it off the heat.
Add the prepared macaroni in a casserole dish and sprinkle with cheese and bake for 10 minutes.
Yummy Mac N Cheese is ready to eat .
Serve hot.
