Dry Fruit Namkeen/ Falahari
Ingredients:
1.5 cups Makhanas (Lotus seeds)
1/4 cup Cashews
1/2 cup Almonds
1/2 cup Peanuts
1 tbsp Dried Coconut
1/2 cup Raisins
1 tsp Sendha salt
1/2 tsp Black pepper powder
1/2 tsp Powdered sugar
2 tbsp Ghee
Methods:
Heat ghee in a pan. When the ghee is warm roast almonds till slightly brown..
Now drop cashews to the ghee and fry until they get slightly brown in color as well.
Take them out in a plate and likewise fry the peanuts as well. Keep the flame low while frying.
Take out the fried peanuts on the same plate.
Now roast dried coconut till brown then take it out in same plate.
Now in the rest of the ghee roast all the makhanas till crispy.
Take it out in same bowl.
After this, in a big mixing bowl add makhana, cashews and almonds, dried coconut,peanuts followed by raisins and mix them well.
Sprinkle some sendha salt , black pepper powder and powdered sugar and mix everything really well.
Delicious and crispy dry fruits namkeen is ready.
Let it cool down completely as it is and then store the namkeen in any air tight container and relish eating for up to 2 months.
