Bejar ki Roti
Ingredients:
1/2 cup Whole wheat flour (gehun ka atta)
1/2 cup Jowar (white millet) flour
1/4 cup Besan (bengal gram flour)
1/2 tsp Roasted cumin seeds (jeera)
1 tsp Green chilli paste
2 tbsp Coriander (dhania), chopped
Whole wheat flour (gehun ka atta) for rolling
Oil for cooking
Salt to taste
Method:
Combine all the ingredients in a bowl and knead into a soft dough using enough lukewarm water.
Divide the dough into 6 equal portions and roll out each portion into a circle using a little whole wheat flour for rolling.
Heat a non-stick tava (griddle) and cook each roti, using a little oil, till it turns golden brown in colour from both sides.
Serve immediately.
