Lauki ki khatti meethi chutney
Ingredients:
- 1 kg Lauki (Bottle-gourd)
- 50 gm Ginger
- 400 gm Sugar
- 1 inch Dalchini (Cinnamon)
- 1 and 1/2 tbsp Salt
- 1 tbsp Zeera
- 1/2 tsp Red Chilli Powder
- 1/2 tsp Black Pepper
- 4-5 Cloves
- 1/2 cup Vinegar
Method:
- Grate Lauki and ginger keep it in a large bowl.
- Add sugar into it and keep aside till sugar melts for 3-4 hours . you can keep it in sun also in winters till sugar melts.
- Now keep it on low flame on Gas stove. Till the mixture is dry for around 10 minutes.
- In the end add all the spices and vinegar and cook for 2 minutes stirring continuously.
- let it cool and store it in clean and dry bottle.
