Malai Kulfi Recipe
Ingredients
1/2 kg Milk
1 cup Malai
1/2 cup Nuts
1/2 tsp Green Cardamom Powder
1/2 cup Sugar
few strands Saffron (Kesar)
few drops Kewra or rose essence
Method
Boil milk till it is reduced to half.
Soak saffron in a tablespoon of warm milk.
Add malai to the milk simmer and cook again for 10 more min.
Add all the nuts, Saffron milk and sugar.
Let it to cool and add essence.
Pour the mixture into small matkas or kulfi moulds and freeze it for four to five hours. Serve chilled.
